Quote from: buzzbomb on May 08, 2023, 05:14:46 AMTo be clear,  this is not a commercial casting, this was a bunch of reject bits that Ian at Stargazer put together for me as a favour, to add to my collection of his kits.

I think that explains it rather well.

I normally hate this scale , but THAT IS WONDERFUL

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Yes this is old school casting from a time when nearly all resin kits were like this. This was not pressure/vacuum cast, just the old fashioned pour in, slowly move it around a bit and hope.  ;D
The commercially sold kits were all pressure cast in first class grey resin.

So, back to the build
There comes a time to just call it done, due to diminishing returns.

Mostly happy with what I have, considering the source model was a bit "rough".
One very  :o moment was when the headlights slowly disappeared and died, looks like the LED have Karked it. So far the rest are doing ok, with the interior lights being the main event.

Final image with the size of this model,

Oh well. Next !!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Awesome work on something that small 👏
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
