The De Havilland Aircraft Museum are hosting a model show on 14th May 2023.

I may well go along with the London club.

Do we have the means and interest to put up a whole table of our own?

I don't see why not, as we've enough members to do it.  Might try to get there, but more likely as a punter.

Hmm.

Martin, bung in an application anyway for a single table. We can try and get people to man it later.

Away from home at the moment, need to check a few things next week, however if we did have a table I can only hump 4 models or so with me on the train etc, so probably best just to go as punters ? Sundays can also be "fun" public transport wise (plus the ongoing industrial disputes) so I really can't commit at the moment.

IF I can twist Rob's arm, Tyneside could put on a small display (ie me) and the SIG can have space.  That's my alternate back up plan anyway.

Too nice a show not to display at and any cash monies are going to the museum too, not corporate tossers.

I've heard from the head of my club that IPMS London have a table reserved but not set in stone.
De Havilland Museum are moving lots of things around and it won't be until late March that they can allocate space for everyone who wants to be there.

Might be worth asking whoever is in charge for one table and seeing what comes back.

Checked this out and it's just not on public transport wise I'm afraid , especially on a Sunday. It would involve bus, train, tube, train, bus and walk and that's before taking any possible "planned changes to services" into account. Shame, but the trip to the London show on Saturday knackered me so I'm going to have to give it a miss.
