Other modeller's attitudes to Whiffing

...We've all seen great builds from their world ..some amazing ones in fact and the best I've ever seen have all been from the wonderful world of wiff.
I've seen some Steam Punk builds which stagger the mind with how complicated they are and the incredible skill the builder has shown...

My favourite builds ever in the whole wide world are the sculptures of Kris Kuski.

I was initially drawn in by his Churchtanks but there is so much more and I could just spend hours being drawn into the detail.

I've seen them in person at an exhibition in Oxford a few years ago. It's all model-making techniques and components too, so you can absolutely have a go yourself. When I can find the right bits, I have a joke version in mind...

I have tanks.  I have yet to find a suitable church (or mosque, or temple, or synagogue, or MacDonalds...).

I suspect that a lot of Kris Kuksi's church tanks use Vollmer cathedral models. You can find them on railway accessory sites.

EDIT: yeah I'm 100% sure that he's used the Stuttgart Cathedral as the basis of most of his builds, although he swaps out the steeple for parts from other churches or civic buildings.
