Agreed. That was my bad and, I have updated my original post. Thanks for reminding me.

I found this website , unfortunately it is in German language .
There are not so much interesting websites about scale modelling in German ...

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

I clicked on that and Google offered to translate it for me.

It's a really good review too, and tells a lot about the history of the kit, which is actually an ex-FROG moulding. Bizarrely it seems that at one stage Revell owned not only the ex-FROG He-115 moulds, but the Matchbox ones as WELL!  :o

They were never both in the range at the same time, but that's a really weird situation for them.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I wasn't aware until now that the FROG kit features the rearward-firing machine guns in the engine nacelles!

AFAIK Revell still own both tools and the Matchbox has appeared in a blue Revell box. Of course, sellers on eBay want nigh on 30 notes for said kits.  Naturally, I think it more likely that they may enjoy carnal relations with their mothers, all the while my heart is bleeding purple fairy urine for them.
