The Russo-Ukrainian war, after many years, has gradually become a static war, of trenches and attrition, in which neither party achieves significant progress, despite the great efforts made. For Russia, the war is economically very burdensome, it increasingly depends on the importation of arms and ammunition from lower quality sources. Ukraine depends on the generosity of NATO funds. Public opinion in NATO countries is increasingly reluctant to continue handing over weapons receiving nothing in return.

Given these circumstances, a group of speculative Ukrainian modellers, including some diplomats and military members, devised a plan to, since they have less and less access to good NATO arsenals, request access to NATO scrapyards, naturally at almost zero cost. Thus began operation KITBASH, whereby Ukraine began to build, in workshops far from the front, all kinds of weapons, albeit not very standardized, very useful and cheap weapons; combining elements of WWII, the Warsaw Pact (Ukraine contributes its own scrapyards), NATO, Israel also joined the effort... There were rumors that Russia is doing the same with its own scrapyards in the operation PSR.

The model presented here is an amphibious tank designed to provide the marines with adequate artillery support from the first moments of disembarkation, even before landing. In this case, it was prepared to try reconquest of Crimea from the sea. No numerals are used to avoid traceability and the flag was harshly painted by the units at the front.

I'd love to see that 125mm gun fire when it's on the water
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .

Nice. I'd doubt the seaworthyness with this large and potentially heavy turret, but the combo with the side pontoons looks cool.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice piece of work Carlos
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It would look like that overhead photo of an Iowa class BB furring a broad side with the ship moving sideways!

I think it would look more like a galleon turning turtle actually!  :o

No. Battleships do NOT move sideways when the main guns are firing a broadside.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Old Wombat

Well, physics pretty-much guarantees they will move sideways, & they'll roll ... a bit ... but there's a HUGE mass of ship & water to be moved, so they don't go far ... a few millimetres, perhaps.
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

^^^^^ and the wide flat hull, hence side pontoons. If you try to sink one side, the pontoon on that side sinks and moves the thrust vector to that side, because the pontoon displaces a lot of water (Archimedes).

Besides that, gun barrel comes from the Merkava by LEE 1/72, which results a bit undersized. So, I would say the gun is about 100-105mm low recoil.

Carlos mate what you have there is the Israeli developed MG251 or MG253 120mm smoothbore gun ..it's a bloody powerful bit of kit but this is wiffy world and I'll bet your beast would handle the recoil perfectly on land or water 😉 😀
