There must be some limits to how far into a wall of green you can see with thermal imaging, and to how effective direct fire into it can be.

Oh that's a lovely pic  ;D
Don't get me wrong matey ..if it's super dence it will stop seeing anything ..thermal can't see thru wood ..or clear glass for that matter ...as for fire support..APFSDS will go straight thru any trees in its way.
A canister round will make a good job of clearing away alot of small trees and there's always boots in the dirt for better info anyway on enemy positions..aswell as air broune assets.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ewoks are sneaky. I'm within easy walking distance from many spots like that - and have never managed to find a Ewok  ;D

You don't find them, they find you......

You wouldn't want to fight the Ewoks anyway..they have sticks and stones and seem to be able to build defensive positions in minutes.
All we'd have is high explosive projectiles..we'd be out gunned.
