What to do with a missing jet nozzle?

Good evening!

I just got a MiG-29 kit by Hasegawa from a second hand shop with just 5 euros. The kit was partly started and it is missing one of the jet nozzles.

I don't want to buy any expensive engine nozzle detail set for this scrappy kit. I could take the nozzles from another kit I have (like ICM or Airfix kit) or I could replace them with something else.

Do you have any suggestions?

My first whiffie ideas were to turn the MiG into a stealth plane with flat thrust-vectoring nozzles or turn it into Luft46-themed German fighter with Jumo 012 engines (or BMW 018).

I would steal from another kit, check other twin jet for something similar, even western jets like an F-18, and you can WHIF her as a Russian jet/western engine and armed version for an operator that straddles the fence of Russian/Western sales, or upgrades their old Soviet Block jets.  India, Iran, Romania, Finland, etc....

Have a look around for simple household objects you could use.  Pen lids as jet nozzles spring to mind.  Texters/Marker pens often come with ribbed lids.

Measure the size of the original nozzle  ...then hunt around for anything which comes close to it..like Fred said..ball point pens..felt tip pens..many types of shapes and sizes.
Once you've found the right sizes..make two new ones ..then they match . ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Technically as it's missing you can't do anything with it

Following on from sandiego89's idea though, you could simply replace the missing nozzle with a more modern nozzle, then paint the aircraft in test markings so you would be in the development stage of sandiego89's idea as a flying test bed for the replacement engine.

Or, blank them off and put a prop on the front, and mustang wings, and make Tope happy.
