He always said Imphal was touch and go much of the time, the Japanese kept on coming in waves!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

They did it with M7 Priest hulls to an extent, although only when they'd got enough SPGs to go around:

I knew about these (were they Kangaroo's, or was that just the turret-less Sherman ? ), it's just this is a little more of a professionl job and some though has gone into it.

Kangaroo was the generic name for any converted tank used as an APC. Shermans, Priests, Rams, Crusaders and Churchills were all used at various times, with varying levels of conversion. I suspect that M3 Mediums weren't used much because a large number of them were converted into Priests or M10 tank destroyers once the Sherman became available. One thing I didn't realise was that the Priest version came first. I'd always had the impression that the Rams were the first.

Mediterranean Theatre Scheme of Light Mud and Tarmac, Sicily/Italy

Tracks were sourced from the Ancient Tamiya Lee and do not quite fit 100% and with the dodgy End Connector locations, but loathe to burn a set of Bronco T48 indi links on this sort of build.

thanks to all for the great support with this build

NARSES2

That is a fantastic build, not over weathered, just right

I can't help thinking however of the entry/exit hatch opening up and revealing a B.B.Q. or maybe more likely as it's British a mobile bar to the delight of the P.B.I. ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That came out so cool! Whiffy nomination was/iswell deserved, I esp. like the welding seams on the gun casemate, and the concept is just great, as well as the execution. I like it a lot.

I really like this! The idea and execution are both great.

The painting and weathering are also nicely done.
Some clever and amusing quote goes here.

That's a great job - the paint job is especially nice.
