Looks great Frank 👍..love the metallic paint work 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks, guys (and Guy). Th paint is Vallejo Metallics (an acrylic) mostly aluminum/aluminium. I added a drop of blue or sepia ink to the paint in some areas. The paint is usually very smooth - I think the graininess is due to the age of the paint or the primer  (Badger gloss black acrylic)

Chris - It was strange watching the foam warping between shots! Then unwarping.

I figured out the warping and sadly, it's not due to some anti-gravity effect. I cut some groves on the underside of the plate to prevent the glue I used to tick down the tarmac from warping it as it dried. The heat caused the opposite effect.

Well at least you know  :thumbsup:  Nothing more frustrating than not being able to work out what's causing something to happen.
