The Wooksta!

Got the canopy fitted on Friday and did the filler work around it earlier.  Possibly a bit more to do here, but once the Trappoklappe is in place, the fuselage is by and large done.

Well, it would be if the glazing for the gondola actually fitted...

Waisting the engine nacelles down to accept the cowlings.  If you squint a bit, you may well see the scribed line that marks the outline of where the cowlings will go.

You've got more patience with PSR than I have.

Kudos.

I've since found that the starboard wing is too far back in relation to the port wing and have had to modify the main spar to bring it foward. By which I mean hack great lumps out of it.

Yes, I salvaged half a dozen or so from a skip when I worked at the Chronicle a good twelve years back.  Barely used, most got handed to mates.  OGL got one IIRC.  I have two left.

For a moment I thought you'd been baking loaves of bread!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Trappoklappe now in place and blended in.  Just need to add the bumper on the back edge.  Barring the under nose gondola, and a fresh coat of grey primer, the fuselage is just about done.

Vacforms are the work of madmen, good grief.

Other than drill out the gun ports on the turrets to receive some barrels, very little progress.  Although I did prime the props.

Engine cowlings have had their panel lines reinstated and have been primed.  The props are all painted too.

Whilst I was spraying other things, I sprayed the remote control barbettes in the relevant colours. I'll be sorting out the wheels next, but the tail wheel assembly is all done.
