Thanks folks, glad you like it.

The name.  A while ago I bought an AMT Ed "Big Daddy" Roth decal sheet which has a heap of Rat Finks on it and some other of Ed's works of art. I promptly put it in a tin and forgot I had it.
I came across it while looking for flames and other appropriate Hot Rod transfers, saw that there were a couple saying "Fink Tank" and realised I had the name of Hans' Rod Tank.
Ed Roth did serve in the USAF but was never posted to Germany.

I have had the idea for a halftrack motorcycle rattling about in my head for a while now.  I even have a sketch.
Chevenkrad by Fred Maillardet, on Flickr
Chevenkrad will be built in 1/24 and powered by a Chevy stovebolt engine.  Tracks from 1/48 or 1/35 armour.  Scratchuilt front end.  Only one seat though.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Guess i'd better build one then.  Mind you, it's only been bouncing round inside my head for 16 years...

So, somewhere between 9 & 14 years left to fully mature, then. ;)

This is very cool mate 👍 😀
As for your tracks 35th scale would balance out size wise with 24th..48th will be to small I reckon...we'll have to wait and see
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Oh that might be pretty good..big road wheels and wide tracks..I do know that 35th scale T-34 wheels are quite big in 35th and pretty damn close to a 25th scale cars wheels..so yeah 48 should turn out quite nicely 😀
