The Bf-109 Project - Me-209 - first edition

The Me-209 was built to capture the world speed record. It featured very small wing and was very difficult to fly.
In an attempt to get this same performance in a fighter, the fourth prototype was fitted with a larger wing and two machine guns over the engine.
This was nu success however and no further development was done.

Hmm, I've got a kit of that somewhere............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
