Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The droid hole looks like it should have a gun turret sitting on it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

So nice, esp. the red tone adds a very special touch. Love it!

You'll givvim... Ideas, if you keep that up... ;)
(but yes, yes it does...)

Nice to see the Red has come out well this time.

yep - and it's clear coated too.   I'm not putting any tape on it again until Thursday at the very earliest. Nope - no screw ups this time

Really liking the look of this bright, smooth finish!

Sadly, I am putting this away for the foreseeable future. Yep, it's happened yet again and to add insult to injury, some paint has completely lifted at the back
Needless to say, I am more than just a tad annoyed. I am not striping this back for the 5th or 6th time ( its happened so often I have actually forgotten the exact amount).
Maybe once I've calmed down enough to look at it again I will but until then, I don't want to know about it.
I'm truly sorry for those watching but I'm sure you will understand. My patience does has a finite value to it

I think that's it for me an WIPs now. I'll continue on with the Star Destroyer because that's too big a project not to update it when I get to it, but in terms of new builds - it's pretty unlikely that I'll do another WIP.  I thought this one would be pretty straight forward but it's been anything but and I'm over it.
Thank you to those who showed support along the way by posting - I really appreciate it and its to those people that I am sorry to.
As always, thanks for stopping in and I shall see you around

Aw, man... that sucks.
I wonder if the plastic itself has anything to do with the latest hassle? Or maybe the amount of times it's been stripped back?
Whatever it is, I feel your annoyance and frustration.

As has been said elsewhere on this site, I feel sometimes a build with problems can be as instructive as one that goes smooth as glass.
Others can see that they're not alone in experiencing issues, and the builder can get sympathy or encouragement and maybe some fixes they might not have thought of.

And personally, I enjoy seeing all the extras people add into their models - I particularly like the gizmology you added, to this and other builds, as it allows me to see how and where, rather than just the finished unit with not as many clues as to how the details were added.

Thanks, Rick, for the post of encouragement   I just need a break from WIPs.
I just feel that lately,  most of what I start doesn't get finished, and there's nothing worse than watching a build thread that just dies before the end
As for the paint itself, I am at a complete loss as to why it happened again.  :banghead:  maybe it had been stripped back too many times but I would have thought the plastic would take it.  Dunno

Old Wombat

Well, I'm bummed & at a complete loss as to what might be causing this. :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  :-\

Maybe the best idea would be to strip it back before side-lining it, so you can come back to it later without the hassle of having to strip it first.
