Oh I dont know? Harking back to the Supermarine type 224 me thinks.
Not to sure id want to try and taxi it thou. Forward vison on the ground would be below zero lol
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

That the early one, I think there was one later when discussing Seafires?

Quote from: zenrat on January 19, 2024, 01:43:27 AMVerr good, but you missed the opportunity to put a huuuuger diameter prop on the Spit.

I agree, should have swapped the propellors over so the undercarriage would work for both aitcraft.

Found something in the Morgan&Shacklady book. I'll see if I can make pics.

VERY interesting! That's the Chrysler engined XP-47 on the cover, isn't it?

I like that folding wing Spitfire, much more Whiffable than the way they did it in the RW.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

And the V tail looks amazing! I wonder how many bits of Spits I have in the spares box?

I got major Type 224 vibes from the Spitsair! And I love the idea of a P-47 wing and gear on the Corsair, that will be awesome.

I'm really, really digging those concepts. This is one of those times I wish I knew CAD and had a 3D printer. Saved for later!!
