The Wooksta!

Another legacy build.  This one has a history.

Telford: 1999.  ARBA had released that year an Fw 190D-13 conversion, which your's truly snaffled and quickly applied to an Academy D-9.  It was intended for the Hasegawa but fitted the Academy.
ARBA borrowed it for the weekend as a sales tool.

It's lurked unloved in a box ever since.

Until recently.  Quick tidy up and some filler later.

Paint will be going on over the weekend.

Gondor

Was that the same as the one done by SAM? At least I think it was SAM because if it was I have one or two of them in the stash with models as well.

I honestly don't know and I can't remember the SAM one.  It's possible, I'll ask Alan Ranger when he's next at our club.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

Way back in the mists of time when I did "proper"* Luftwaffe,  nearly everything got mottled.  It stopped when I dropped Luftwaffe and I haven't done it for 25 years.  So it's been a bit touch and go.  I've got a bit of card to practice on, to make sure the airbrush is tightened down enough - I loathe dual action with a passion you can barely dream of - and when I'm happy, on to the model.

*ie with swastikas.  That doesn't happen now.  They lost and I do not model genocidal psychopaths.
