After the British attack on the French fleet in Mers-el-Kébir, Vichy France declared war on the British and became a partner of the Germans.

I am inspired! Not just the scheme (which is wonderfully ad hoc), but the thought if Vichy joining the Germans is something l hadn't thought of and l can see that it has opportunities. :wub:
