Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks, guys. I wanted to see if deformed/no-scale tank models for kids could be turned into realistic 1/35 vehicles. The answer is "maybe" if you get one of the larger models and put in a lot of work.

This has certainly had me scratching my head since I first clapped eyes on it. The paint job has me rubbing my eyes too. Very well done.

The biggest problem with the no scale kids toys is the tracks..they always look like crap but the hulls ive seen on some are actually pretty good and open to some quite cool transformations.
The plastic on many of them ain't that bad either .
Would make a interesting exercise in model adaptation  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The first version I tried used Abrams tracks, but they were such a tight fit that I went with the kit tracks.

Marcos Serra did a great job detailing a Meng Matilda Mk II Toon tank To make it a "realistic" 1/35 vehicle would require a new turret.

Both the Matilda & the Firefly look fantastic!

The addition of RW parts brings them to life much better than the "toon" parts!

I added a figure from the  Miniart 1/35 Israeli Tank Crew from the Yom Kippur war. I modified the uniform slightly to make him more generic and tested a different painting method that I either need to practice more or abandon:

Or both.

Practice it a few more times, then, if you just can't get the finish you want, abandon it
