Having had to assemble a 1/1 greenhouse today - and it's not yet - the timetable has shifted somewhat...

Quote from: chrisonord on April 23, 2024, 06:54:45 AMAre you using the kit landing gear and wheels Lee, or an alternative, as I am not too keen on the wheels to be honest, they look very 2 dimensional and lacking detail for my liking.

I'll be using the kit landing gear, simply because trying to scratch the 1103/1121 gear is... problematic.  I need at least three of them too.

As it is, I think the kit ones are okay, the nose gear especially.

I really need to find my P.1121 book as I need the drawings.

Cheers Lee, I am going to look into other suitable landing gear, but if I can't find anything, I will use the kit ones. I will be putting wing pylons and tanks/ missiles on mine, most likely as described earlier. Wing tip rails will have sidewinders.

The sodding greenhouse is finally finished.

Time to fix the wings.

You cannot view this attachment.

Small strip glued in place on the starboard wing, the wider one has yet to be glued in place.  Also in shot is the filler.

In place and filler on.  Need to leave it for a bit.

First stage of the sanding done.

Uppers.  More sanding needed and I need to sort out the control surfaces.

Lowers.  A lot better, although again, more sanding needed.

Time for some primer to see what needs doing.
