A Soviet Op High jump to winkle out the last Nazis in Neuschwabenland, perhaps in late '40's.

T-34/44
IS-4s
Yaks, Laggs, Il-10s, Pe-2s etc
and if you squint a bit, early Mig-15s as well!

Just a thought.

Seeing as it's a fantasy subject, the Nazis supposedly had flying saucers based in Antarctica, why not have the Soviet forces equipped with jets, fighters and bombers?

Hmm, yes Mig-15s and Lagg-15s. Plus reverse engineered Arado bombers and V-1s which they did have about this time.

Don't forget the Yak-15, 17 and 23. The
15 would look rather fetching on skis.
Yes, I realize that the tailwheel would be
running in the melt caused by the engine.

Although, if they've put down Marston mat (aka PSP), the Yak 15 would be useful at snow and ice removal

I had forgotten the Yak-23, hmmm

Also gone through t'stash and have a few oddities that might work.
Trying to work out how to convert an SU-75 SPG into an APC (?BTR-75?)

Also was wondering about tactical markings - Soviets use white bands around the turret in Berlin, and a cross fore and aft in later incidents. I was wondering about a black or red band around the turrets or a red fore and aft cross on white cammo. Any thoughts?
