Finally got this thing done, kind of fell out with it, but it looks half decent. The massive gap in the canopy is there to keep the condensation down whilst parked up  ;)  and slots in place when the aircraft is readied for take off. Take that excuse with a varying sized spoon of salt. The aircraft is usually used as a carrier capable training aircraft, and much like the F-8 Crusader's also sent to the conflict were due to be retired. Four Skyhawks were converted into armed combat tanker aircraft, and did said task admirably. The aircraft had no guns, but were wired to carry sidewinders and ECM pods for self defence. A hose and drogue buddy pod was carried on the centreline, and 2 large ferry tanks were carried and plumbed into both the aircraft, and the IFR pod.
Many thanks to weaver for giving me this kit, and to Kit  for the 800 group decals. Very much appreciated.
