Quote from: Rheged on February 12, 2024, 08:41:18 AMI've recently discovered the "Vickers Vanjet",  a paper project that seems to fall between the Vanguard and the VC 10.. Further data here:-  https://www.key.aero/article/why-baby-vc10-never-flew

As opposed to the Vickers JetVan of which a single prototype was built clocking 160 up the M1 with a full load of 2 plumbers, an apprentice, their tools and lunch, half a cwt of copper, three decommissioned hot water cylinders, a copy of the sun and half a pack of woodbines.
Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Heading for Milton Keynes.

Hmmmm, doesn't have the same ring as 'Chicago' does it?

Quote from: PR19_Kit on June 09, 2024, 12:53:57 AMI did thanks Dave, can't remember where I got it from though. If it was from someone on here, thanks VERY much, and I apologise for forgetting you.

Its Tyne engines are now grafted onto the wings of my Roden C-133, and the C-133's T-40s are now on the Vanguard's wings, or will be eventually.  ;D

So, what happens to the Vanguard? 4 RR Griffons?  ;D
