Having found that the Jaguar Mk2 Coupe prototype was causing me a few problems I have managed to find parts for the Monogram 1/24 snap-tite Shelby Charger.I've checked online for similar models which are expensive and beyond my current budget.
The model was bought secondhand 'spares or repair ' and had been painted but had a few runs in the bodywork. With a few moves and being rehoused some of the parts have either been used for other builds or lost, hence the raid in my spare parts boxes.
This is still in the mockup stage apart from the new dashboard and front seats which are glued in place.

The dashboard is from a diecast Jaguar XJS V12, wheels are off a Jaguar XJ220 and the front seats are from the Matchbox Ford Mercury Capri Mk1.

The V12 engine is from the same diecast Jaguar XJS which seems to fit in the engine bay.

The new roof came off a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, although not a perfect fit it creates the illusion of a Ute.

I don't have the glazed parts, but I'm thinking about quad headlights, I'll have another rummage for the tail lights and interior details if not I will add my own.

A slight change in the body style which looks like the MGF with wheel arches at the rear and a new grill.

A little bit of research has revealed that there was the Dodge 600 convertible which I have never heard of before I started this build . There's a video of a restoration on YouTube.

I found a battered 1/24 Ford Crown Victoria and I have removed the wheels, rear tail lights and clear plastic windows. So the Shelby Charger will become a three door hatchback.
