Ya know me by now guys ...it's looking real good which is hiding the bad very nicely ..yep..that's what I'll work with in the excuse department 
Things of this size are a problem anyway..hard to transport..guzzling gas like it's going out of fashion..bloody unreliable and carries bugger all ammo ...and this list will be extended in the backstory which I'm looking forward to writing 
I'm chuffed ya like the painting...it's one I'm also happy about which doesn't happen often 😄.
