Well it is sunday night here and I am getting up at 4am(ouch) to catch a plane to sydney for two weeks.

Two weeks without modeling you say!!! Not likely I have gotten modeling on the road down to a fine art. The night maus that I posted a couple of weeks ago was built last time I was in Sydney.

I have a small tool kit that fits my most commonly used tools and a plastic lunch box to place my kit into.

This trip I am working on some thing a little bigger. I am doing some more work on my He-222 which is my four engined varient of the He-111. This is one of those it seemed like a good idea at the time projects. I started thisd kit 2 years ago and i have decided that it time to finish this puppy.

This kitbash has taken two zwillwing kits and a lot of scratchbuilding to get the desired results.

If people are interested I will post some pics as a kind of online build.

Below is the last pic I took some 12 months ago.

Sisko, cool project...oddly enough, I was watching a show of the german attempt to take over britain's skies last night, and one of the things that they mentioned was the need for a four engined bomber...either a larger version of the 88 or 111...and then here you are, seven hours later, posting pic of the very plane!
Yep, I for one, would love to see the "in progress" shots...always been my favourites !

What, are you serious?!  Yes---pics please!!!  Seeing other people's progress shots is what keeps me going on my own.

Here is the first pics

I have extended the fuselage forward and rear. I have had to make a new front section in order to exend which I am currently fitting out I should have a photo tommorrow.

I have to fill in the fillet on the wings and Get rid of some of the windows in the main cabin.

Stay tuned.

Looking good.  It looks like you're extending the fuselage, too.  I can see where that would be necesary.

That's going to be quite a model when finished.

Nazi stuff ain't my thing, but that looks like a fine piece of kitbashing you've got going on there :)

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Nothing to update today.

Still sanding and filling. I am going to fill in the fillets on the wings tonight so I should have some updated photos for you soon.

Hello Wooksta.

You are definitely right about the fit.

I was going to increase the fin area, I was thinking of a larger tail plane but the twin fin is something that I had not considered thanks.

I have the necessary kits to scratch build a Ju-488 but evertime I do a project like this the enthusiasm dissappears.
