Sir, as far as quality of your modeling skills go, I am (for one) quite impressed, whether or not the pictures show some scratches, etc...  this is one hell of a great plane !!!!

  More, more!

No one's saying the Defiant was a failure.

We're just saying that agains a fighter, it was no match.

Lovely model by the way.

I'll second that
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

William, my internet modelling creed has long been "a fuzzy digicam shot hides many a modelling sin"  :D  Good job too or I wouldn't show many of my models round here  ;)

Very nice and it looks so much like a hurricane that it is scary.

I have an old aviation magazine that proposes a what if about this very concept. I have always thought of doing it but it is one of those things that I never get around to doing.

Can I ask did you have a Luft 46 website that listed kits and did reveiws and such? If so your website and the other luft 46 site were what turned me from a Sci-Fi modeller to What If.

I now have a cupboard full of Luft 46 kits, Rejoice!!!!!!!!

Ya know, it's always fun to hear folks (JMN's) start to prattle on about how the RN used this varient of the "Hurricane" on the Arc Royal shortly after the sinking of Bizmark....

Awesome looking work. To quote Mr. Twist

Ummmmm, more sir. Please.

Thanks Sisko et al

That luft46models.com website was mine - if I turned one modeller to the darkside of L46 then my job is done.
:)

I loved doing the site but maintenance is a pig. My site was a freehosted one and when that went down so did my site - it got resurrected once about 2 years back but I got screwed over by my ISP so it's been down for about 12 months now.

I would love to get it back up ( the site that is ....mmmm) but I don't have the time - any willing maniacs - I've got about 110MB of files to start with.

I've got the typical wife and 2 kids and as it is I often stay up by myself to get any modelling done because I don't want to miss out on family time - 2 boys 7 & 10 ( going on 40 most days for the eldest ) - oh poo-poo - topic drift.

I'll do a formal intro soon.

Willy !

Beauty model, for sure....and poo-poo (with an english accent), don't be a fraid to share ! Especially with a job like that ! Could definatley fool a few people, me included !

Defiants have loads of WI potential, would be cool in the post-war camo, as well as with an observers seat like the 'fly.

Cheers, and keep 'em coming !
