I could be wrong, but the forward gun mount on that design looks like the 8" MCLWG (Major Caliber LightWeight Gun).  There's another weapon I'd have liked to see in service.  Either that or the new 155 they're working up.

All missile Iowa class battleship.

As you may have guessed I am still partial to big guns.  Still an interesting concept.

Have an all SAM ship, large radars, and have them as a home fleet for missile defense.  Same thing.
