Well, it's been a tough day at our house.  The dear wife had surgery on her knee this morning to repair damage from a fall at work a year ago.  She is recuperating on the couch with an enormous bottle of painkillers.

Since I will be staying by her side and tending to her every need, I've set up the mobile modeling station (an $8 second hand end table) in the living room and I've narrowed this weekend's project down to an A-4 in UK colors (an ever popular theme with this crowd!) or a Jaguar in US colors.

If I go with the A-4 I will be deciding between 1970s grey/green RAF , an RAF Desert Storm SEAD, or an RN bird operated off an Eagle/Ark Royal/Hermes that was not scrapped.

If the Jaguar wins it will be either Euro I or a carrier-capable Marine machine.

I'll post updates on the decision and the build.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

QuoteHows about a Euro-1 Jag of the US Army? B)
Hope the boss is ok.
Unfortunately there are serious logistic and supply problems with a US Army Jaguar (ie:  I have no US Army decals laying around  :D )

Come on guys, this is a tough decision, what are your views, F/A-11A Jaguar or Skyhawk FGR.1/FRS.1??

oops, gota run, the patient is calling for mashed potatoes!

F/A-11A Jaguar, of course!! And if it's a naval fighter, it's  better!!!

Someone say Jag in Euro 1 scheme ? Might look like this.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I must admit your site was the Jag on your site was the inspiration for my idea Leigh.  I've always loved the Euro I camoflage and it looks so good on your Jag!

I'd say to do the Jaguar as a USAF machine in Euro-1 camoflage.  There are a number of mods, primarily to the landing gear, required to do the carrier version.  I really need to do a comparison with the T-2/F-1 to see if the gear from that might work better for a carrier-based Jaguar.

Look for Details of the Jaguar M to do the Carrier based Jaguar. For that matter  you could do a Royal Navy Jaguar as it was proposed. Jaguar M has a larger twin nose wheel with larger single main wheels. The nose bay being extended to take the large undercarriage and a beeifer hook fitted.

Foe that matter how about doing the US Jag in Gulf War colours or US marine AV-8B camo ?.

For the UK Skyhawk i suppose there are plenty of Jennings inspired FAA examples or you could go RAF or Even Royal Marines or Army Air Corp to use them in the close air support role.

Cheers
