Nah nowt too special those are just the AS-30's off the original Matchbox BAC Jaguar kit. I know the Italeri Mirage 2000D has nicer ones but they only have two in a set and the original intended load of 18 1000 lb bombs had to be scrubbed when i discovered i didn't have enougth identical ones and they had fit issues on the belly due to the Mis calculation with the U/C

Atleast doing this one i got another free canopy as the one i put safe top one side is still illuding me. I'll send that with the Bomb data you requested.

Thanks for the response, not having the opportunity build the original Matchbox offering, I had to assume they were AS-30s but the shape is most deceiving with that extreme taper, reminds me of the original Pershing missile which had a similar taper to the nose section.

Heeyep,  I just saw the latest kitbash.  Love it!

I'm still sitting here with a silly grin I can't wipe off my face.

Wifey says I'm nuts.

Still grinning...

Geoff, this is yet another time that I wish we had one of those 'we are not worthy' smilies like ARC has.

DAMN! That is a prizewinner!

Its not reallys a scratch build just a kitbash to get a UKVG to go with the TSR-2/F-111K  (As the AFVG has a more rounded fusealge its alot harder to recreate). The UKVG is also a conversion of a pretty readily avialble kit so its not beyond the capabilities of most of you guys - afterall plenty of options and colour schemes to go at.... ;)  (just PM us if you have any questions or want copies of the drawings).

Yeap Lee an Airfix Vigilante wing may do itjust trim down the extended trailing edge and shorten it at the fuselage join side. With the Fixed wing UKVG you and use a a GR1 kit, remove the nose cone immediatly fwd of the canopy and  reshape the the nose cone to angle down slightly. A fuselage extention will be required just aft of the cockpit to get the correct length but the new intakes will hide this area anyway. Intakes from a Mirage IV or similar Wings from a Vigi and new Tail surfaces from plastic card.

See what happens when my hard drive eats itself and i have an enforced 2 week break?

Looking spectacular as always Geoff - there's something about shock cones that really push my buttons...can't help wondering that a jag would look better with them too (almost like a lanky legged, fugly mirage f1).

would be nice to take some shots of your wonderful raf and rn "what ifs" on a plain background and have one of us photoshop them into action...would be a great with a background story (real and what if)...ever thought of being published?

great stuff again!
