G'day all
Well a few months ago the good ol' RNZAF decided to buy the NH.90 to replace our hard-working but forty year old Hueys. They enter service circa 2009 apparently.

So I was wondering what kits are available of the NH.90? I wouldn't mind doing one as a RNZAF a/c before they're actually here.

Revell did it in 1/72 and 1/144. The 1/144 may still be available but the 1/72 version is much harder to find, but does occasionally show up on ebay.  Hopefully they will re-issue one as soon as it actually enters service.

Revell made a 1/72 NH90, though they didn't call it that.  I was of the prototype transport NH90.

Here's my version:

Hmm, thanks. I had a hunch either Italeri or Revell made one. Like I may have said, we're not meant to get them until 2009ish. We have 14 Iroquois/Hueys to replace, and the NH.90s are going to cost $400-$500 million to buy, so, um, does anyone know how many that should be?

Cos I don't.

And I actually live in the country buying them.

BTW, we're also looking for Bell Sioux replacements. As in, "we're still using Sioux".

What, they're cool!

Indeed, revell did release an 1/72 & 1/144 scale versions of the aircraft, i got the 1/144 version in my room. for 7.50€, i think its well worth its money.

Since france is also one of the many NH90 developers, im sure Heller will release its own NH90 in the near future. im sure gonna get one in 1/72 scale once the belgian gouverment signs (possibly) the deal for 8 to 10 helicopters.

I'm inclined to agree, Ollie...we have enough around the country it'd be difficult to tell who's who. Wonder how the camo would look....

Leave them civvie-like, in case of war, they won't know what to shoot down!
