Evening 'all.

Having not gone near plastic, cement or blade for 8 years I've started on something I used to sketch as a youngster - An Apache with a co-axial ABC rotor system and retractable main gear.

As I have said before, I live in a wallpapered dungeon, so I've got to model small.  This is built from one of those nasty Revel Mini-Kits, so it's at 1/230 scale (approximately), which is about 2 inches long - it looks like a toy because it is, frankly.

I need to clean it up a bit, score some panel lines and paint the thing.  Ive got a whole series of these planned - the other AH-64 will beome a tilt-jet thingy, another will become a CRW (Canard-Rotor-Wing) concept.

I was going to do a load of KGV variants in 1/1200 scale (Like battlecruisers, the original 12 gun design, a post war assult ship), but it's no longer available, peasants.

Wait a bit..., you said 1/230th scale? AHA! you're trying to go after my 1/220th Transall, ain't ya?!  ^_^

Nice model   and great name, so logical, mixing Ka(mov) for coaxial rotor and AH-64 for Apache. Logic, smart! :D

I'm always stunned when people turn out great looking models in these "teeny little" scales - great work
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
