Great collection :) , wonderful base for scratch building, but this is not the easier part of modellism... :(

Hey...you stole my stuff !

I think we should all box up a set of landing gear, props or tail feathers, wings and a fuselage.....and ship them off to somebody and have a group build that way !

Looks oddly familiar.

My spares box is full of "useful" bits.  I reckon I have never actually thrown away any of the bits left over after building a kit, or breaking one up.

Ah, happy times!

The possibilities are endless. B) IF I had that pile, I could really get crazy. No excuses if I need something, right?      I used to have a decent spares pile, but then I was shown the way to What if.........

I heard about something like this on Starship Modeler.  Basically, someone sends you a box of "stuff" and you have to make something out of it.  I think the catch was you only had a certain amount of time and you had to use all of the parts or something like that.  It sounds like it could be a lot of fun.  Just be sure and send Eddie some big parts and wait for the results!

Yep, SSM did the "Box of Stuff" challenge. You didn't have to use all of what was sent, but you couldn't use any other kit parts than were in the box. Some scratchbuilding was allowed I think.

Some good sci-fi designs came out of it.

Cheers

Great idea, Mark!
Naively, I thought I knew almost all the reasons to create a twin/zwilling but this one was missing: :)
- Engineer, why did you create this double-plane?!
- Because I had too much parts and a need to use/sell them all... ^_^
Nice enrichment, thanks! :D

If you get your seeing eye dog to sniff closer you'll find nothing that  looks like a 1:100 or 1 144 prop of which I need two.
There are also no Oscar drop tanks, uncashed cheques, high heeled socks or your long lost hair piece...there is how ever a Tamiya Meteor F3 that I got complete for £15.and my decal box is full of stencils.....come up and see me sometime sailor.
