Well it came out last week and arrived at Hannants yesterday. Already shot to #2 in the Top sellers list with only the new Trumpeter 1/72 AS-90 British Self Propelled Gun ahead of it (and its had a week of sales !!!).

Nice book BTW, lots of photo's and diagrams that should keep the general modeller happy. I expect to see more detailled works appear next year sometime as these obviously take alot longer to put together.

Good sign however on how popular the aircraft actually is, just proves that our original campaign that we launched on here was a truely worthy cause.

I bought one off e-bay after your kind headsup, just waiting to see it arrive in the mail. I am interested to hear it is selling so well at Hannants, they must be seeing more and more the value in getting resin and brass detail sets made for the kit when it appears.

Cheers

Phoenix or Folly? by Frank Barnett-Jones, The TSR.2 with Hindsight, and the TSR.2: The Untold Story video are both available from Essex libraries. I'll try and get them for a review. Pretty sure I've seen the 'Murder' book somewhere too.

So overall the new TSR-2 book is good or bad? Indifferent?

As I mentioned, I have one on the way, just a little heads up will do. My total TSR-2 references so far are the two SMI articles and what I can glean online.

I'm going to be in the vicinity of Cosford just after Christmas, so if anyone wants millions of closeup detail pics of their TSR2 I can oblige.

I'd love to get my hands on any of those books. Would anyone be willing to scan some pages my way?
