Captain Danger and the Atomic Air Commandos

Something that's been kicking around in my head for a while...

Take some of the more outrageous ideas of the 50's/60's/70's and present them as the vehicles used by the dashing hero, Captain Danger, and his team of troubleshooters, the Atomic Air Commandos!  Sort of an homage to the old GI Joe toys, from the Kung-Fu grip to the more modern 3 1/4" variety, crossed with a dash of Sky Captain and/or Doc Savage, with a heaping teaspoon full of pulp.

Make an outlandish "IT COULD WORK!" design predicated on the ideals of the future from the 50's-70's and then either assign it to Captain Danger and his boys or to the insidious Doctor Wing and his nefarious Crimson Cloak Cadre!

Some of the planes I originally considered for this were the concept Beta bomber by Hawk, Republic's XF-103 Thunderwarrior, and Lockheed's V/TOL Salmon.
