Seeing this lovely, daring and mutant spitfire, I couldn't help thinking "this is something for Tophe". so here it is, just for you  ;)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

If my poor brain understood correctly the philosophy of the asymetric plane, I would say that the propellers must turn from the left to the right. So the torque come from right to the left, counterbalancing the lighter side (Ie the side with no rear fuselage)
Eeeeeerh... Maybe I'm totally wrong. Nevermind.

Nobody seems to know much about this so nice model, which is my favourite of the whole Scot Nationals 2006 collection...
I was wondering if this was a double Spitfire or a Spitfire+ truncated Hurricane (the canopies look a little different)...

About asymmetry philosophy (do you know my site http://cmeunier.chez-alice.fr/asym_dahu_aeroUK.htm ?, in French http://cmeunier.chez-alice.fr/asym_dahu_aero.htm ), you ought to realise a few things:
- A propeller which is rotating from the left to the right [in the above part] is turning from the right to the left [in the bottom part] and if you are the pilot or the ground crew facing it, your conclusion is opposite for the rotation (in the above part for instance)... It is better to say: I am looking like the pilot and I see the propeller rotating clockwise (or else: counter-clockwise)
- The airflow is pushing on wings and tailplanes in the opposite direction of the torque, the tailplanes may provide lift upwards or exert a push downwards for balance, a short fuselage may be lighter or more heavy if it holds a big device...
Nothing is simple. But this asymmetric Spitfire dream is wonderful, absolutely. Thanks to have thought of me seeing it.
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
