Well, at the request of Tophe (and who could refuse Mr Zwilling himself?) I hereby move my "Me262Z" thread to the Twin-tail forum.

I have a very very special idea for this bird - sorry no pics, but I'm going to make you all wait  :( - but trust me, It'll be worth it.

I'll say this.

That;s all, hopefully I'll be able to do some more work tomorrow, and then lots more on Friday.




Oh yeah, I can't take any pics cos Lana's dad has the camera  :angry: !.

Did the first coat of the first camo colour this morning before work. I'll do some more tomorrow, and she'll be externally complete (except for national markings) by Sunday. I can;t wait to unveil her in all her non-German glory! B)

Great... And Sunday in NZ is... yes, Sunday too near Greenwich meridian, this may enlight my week-end (it is my Sunday evening which is NZ Monday, not the opposite...).
Already, this announcement of a Me 262 without swastikas is even more sympathetic to me than a Luftwaffe one that would have just his shape to seduce...

I was thinking of doing it as a Luftwaffe aircraft, but a better idea came into my head. You'll just have to wait until your Sunday to see it! I'll work on the backstory, painting shouldn't take too long, its just decals and armaments that may be tricky.

The camo is coming along nicely, as are the props - whoops, did I just say that? ;)


Gotta track down some armament, probably won't worry re decals as none have surfaced yet. Damn.

Sorry Mr 777, my girlfriend's dad has my camera! Otherwise, I would've posted the pics a week ago! The 262 is just gathering dust on a shelf in the kitchen. I think you'll like her though.

Dust is criminal! Why dirt on a forthcoming marvel just waiting to be photographed? Why God did invent dust? :(
