Ok, So Now What Do I Do With These?

In a black fit of depression caused by a family funeral, an unconquerable mess in my single-room appartment, and an accident involving the breakage of several near-finished kits, I tossed out all my kits, finished, unfinished and *unstarted* (only one of those, thank god!). This time around, I at least kept the paints and knives - I also still have the decal box. Which is feeling mighty well fed at the moment, since there were more than fifteen unbroken sheets added when I tossed out the plastic they were supposed to go on.

Several months later, I'm feeling much better, and I've started buying kits again. Way too many of them, actually. Last time around, I restarted my hobby on 1/72 helicopters - this time I went one scale bigger, and I now have a eight of them that I can think of off hand under construction...

And the whiff bug bit me again.

The contenders:

Hasegawa Longbow
Italeri AH-1Z Cobra
Italeri MH-60G Pave Hawk
Italeri RAH-66 Comanche
Italeri SH-60 Seahawk
Italeri Tigre HAP
Italeri Tigre PAH-2
Italeri V-22 Osprey (updated)

The available decals:

Aussie (black roundels)
Dutch (navy)
British (lots!)
French (army and navy)
German (army and navy)
Japanese (navy, maybe some that are army-size as well)
Italian (from small Typhoon)
Russian (Mig-29)
Spanish (other Typhoon kit)
Ukrainian (Mig-29)
US (all branches, though the USCG ones are tiny...)
...and, the UN Spacy (from the Macross Anime franchise)

There may actually be even more decals if the older stash survived...

So, what kinds of ideas do you guys get from this?

Spanish Pave Hawk. It nearly became true, but the european union pressed and the politicians purchased the super puma/ cougar. You can see the results: 2 down in Afghanistan, due to the poor self defense kit.

French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Hey, Sebastian!  Good to see you back and feeling better!  Now, let's get modeling!

Lessee, off the top of my head...

Dutch SH-60 Seahawk?
Ukranian Longbow?
Royal Army Tigre PAH-2?
Spanish Commanche?
German Army Pave Hawk?  Italian Pave Hawk?  Both would look neat.
Aussie V-22?  German V-22?  I dunno, town between the two.
Japanese Navy AH-1Z (for use off their latest, baby flattop DDH's)?
Japanese Tigre HAP?

Again, welcome back!
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

Thanks for all the lovely ideas. I don't know which, if any, will be realized, since I'm still having trouble with finding the right size insignia for some of these, but I'll see what I can do.

Since my last post, I've made another interesting purchase, I think, and I'm contemplating another just for fun - I don't know if the kits are close enough in size to cross decal, but think about the following combination for a little:

Revell 1/32 Eurocopter EC-135 "Polis" (Swedish Police)
MRC 1/35 Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior "Thugs"

Also, I'm brushing up on (read: learning from scratch...) sculpting, through converting a Warhammer 40K figure. To those in the know, I'm building a Carnifex at maximum possible point cost - which involves a lot of putty and most of the spare parts from the box it comes in. The scale is roughly 1/72 (25 mm), and the blasted thing is about five inches long, three inches tall and two and a half inches wide, and I haven't added the second pair of arms yet...
