Here's an ESCI 1/72 F-8E done up in UAE colors.  I modified the plane by adding the ventral avionics buldge from an A-7E.  The armament is two AGM-62 Walleyes, 2 AIM-9B's, and 2 AGM-87A Focus.  I don't have a backstory for this, other than the Crusader needed to be done differently.

You know, I just read in an issue of Air Progress from 1964(I think), saying that the US was offering F-8As (with the E-model wing for stores) to Lebanon and Norway.  It could've happened.

The ESCI kit is about the same quality as other ESCI kits.  Panel lines that look almost right, moulded in silver, some flash, odd and off fit in places.  No cockpit detail.  The usual.  They make great WiF's! B)
