Afghani F/A-18C

Here's a contemporary to the Iraqi F/A-18.  Originally, I wanted to do a "re-arming of Iraq and Afghanistan" sort of thing, but that grew into the Horde of Hornets.  I didn't want to give them both F-16's, because that's just too obvious.

This one is a Testor's F/A-18C/D, and I used decals from a Fujimi Mig-21.  I had no idea what colors the instructions from the Mig-21 were actually calling for, and I was too lazy to find something in my WAPJ's or online, so I went with "approximate" colors (which, were way off, but I digress).

This is armed for a stand-off mission, with two AIM-9's for self defense, two AGM-84E's, and two AGM-123's.  Who they're attacking, I have no idea, but they're gonna cause a lot of hurt on whoever it is.

Whoops, forgot to mention it was 1/72.  But we're talking me here.  Anything bigger than 1/72 scale is too big for my display space
