I discovered something this evening. I was working on my Secret Santa project. I was very unhappy with the nose glazing I'd made by cutting and bending and glueing clear bits of blisterpack material. Then it hit me. I lit a candle and held some clear blisterpack just high enough over the flame to soften it. Then I pushed it down over the end of a big Sharpie marker and voila` instant nose glazing and in one piece! I imagine you could use the end of a smaller pen or dowel to get a nice little clear gun turret too. This is kinda like poor man's vacuforming. I know this is incredibly simple and maybe a very common trick, but it made me feel like I just invented the wheel!

Ahhh, it's the simple things in life :)    Sounds like a good idea to me...of course I'd need to make sure my fire extinguisher is handy first
