Tophe the vertical fins are the original horizontal stabilizers/tails off the MPM 262.
The horizontal tail/cross member thingy was bashed out of a set of wings from the academy BF-109 donor kits, with some plasticard for the centre divider.

And what about numbers past 262 which would make sense seeing as this is a development based on the 262 airframe. ME-274 for example.
