Good tip when finishing propellers

Yes, that's it!

After you've painted the blades flat black or whatever, rub your finger over your forehead or nose and transfer the skin oils to the surface of the prop blade. It gives it a quite realistic sheen.

If your hair has receded as much as mine, you'll find that you can do a whole B-17 bomb group in one sitting.

I've done that as well, to shine up flat black, when you don't want it as shiny as gloss......

*Laughs* I well know about receding hairlines.  You know you're definitely balding when the glare from your scalp causes a bloom on security cameras.

And if anyone gives me lip about it, I simply tell them I'm following Patrick Stewart's advice, "To baldly go..."
