Zac, use something bigger than a Gipsy Major, it's barely enough to get a Chipmunk in the air, so for something heavier, it would be pathetic.

Maybe a Gipsy Queen?

AND i have lots of RAF© roundels.....
You might want to hang onto thos RAF roundels Zac. From that other thread, I think you might get a nice price for them in the near future if the U.K. MoD has their way...

P.S. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one Zac! I just love those 'Lycoming-style' engines.

for putting on the fragile landing gear ("it's frag-i-leee" dear! It must be from France!")  , a third hand is a good idea...as well as some patience:

Greg that's one of the nicest Storch/MS500 builds I've ever seen! Truly the work of a master! I know you weren't thrilled with the OD, but I think it really helps set off those French roundels nicely. You're doing this kit proud.

I certainly will hold onto them, Bri. I have enough to last me many a year - thanks Tophe and the other kind person whose name I've forgotten! Jonesthetank, that's right!

And Also, that Chippie is gonna be wicked fun! Mmmmm.......And, don't forget I'm doing something similar on my real world Bf108/Nord 1002.......

Greg, you are amazing!  ^_^
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

BlackOps

I have to agree with the consensus here...great looking build!!!
