QuoteShe should have a Canadian scheme, but I don't have the decals for it. Anyone got some Canadian decals in 1/144th scale that would suit a 737-based bird?
Tony, probably the best thing to do would be to let me know which livery you would prefer. Next time I'm near Aviation World here in Toronto I can pop in there and take a peek through their selection for you. Then I can let you know exactly which sheet it is, and the price, and you can order it through them.

(Personally, I'm thinking the Canadian Airlines goose scheme they had just before going belly up    )

CDN how ? Civil ? I've got that goose scheme that rat was talking about from a Twin Otter kit, which might be about the right size. There's another scheme in there too...... I could bash together RCAF decals for you, if that's what you're after.

Cheers

What I had in mind was something like this A-319

Then I found this completely by accident, and it's pretty much settled.

So, can anyone help me out with some 1/144th Air Canada decals to fit a stretched B-737?? Willing to buy or trade...whatever makes it easiest.

Thanks!!
Tony

Hmmmmm... Don't know if anyone has turned out the new scheme yet, but I'll have a poke over at AW.

Now that's a cool looking plane!  My "thing" was also inspired by the Sonic Cruiser.  The "C-Wing" reminded me I've still got to finish my "thing" up.

Can't wait to see your's done!

QuoteAs for markings, I'm currently stuck with the 727 Pan Am decals - not that I object to the scheme, but as she has no vertical tail, there is no good place for the globe emblem, and it looks funny without it.

This is but only ONE TRUE Cannuck livery: CPAir!

Dig it:

The beauty of CPAir's livery is that you might not even need decals. Some simple masking could give you the tail logo easily (which should fit your vertical fins easily as well) and all you'd have to figure out is a way to do the "CPAir" titles on the forward fuselage by the nose.

And don't forget that CPAir's birds had "Empress" names- "Empress of Japan", "Empress of Canada", etc. So you'd have to come up with a good one for this whiff like "Empress of Haulin' donkey" or perhaps something more diginfied:D

That's funny, Mr. Chicken....I was just reading thru the Winter 1977 edition of Airforce ( the RCAFAssoc. mag ) and pointed this out to my brother, how cool those old CP birds looked.

There's an excellent book, full of pics about the airline. I bet Rat could get it at AW.

As for the newer Air Canada decals, check out JBot.
