The interupter gear for the cowling guns would have to be some fantastic bit of engineering.

The MG 151/20 was electrically cocked and used electrical ignition rather than a percussive firing pin.
In the wing-root installation used on the FW 190, the two MG 151/20  were synchronized to fire through
the propeller arc.

The 13mm MG 131 also used electrical ignition.

The wheels are turning on the tricycle gear also...

I'd stick to taildragger to avoid it looking too similar to the Me-309. Besides, the nose will be fairly cramped as it is with the engine.

Re colour scheme, I'd probably go with something similar like the late war Ta-152s with simplified markings, e.g.:

Re camouflage, doesn't have to be German I suppose?  Israel operated the Avia S.199, but it was in a bland overall grey, how about the brown/blue camouflage worn on their Spits & Mustangs?
