Since the push of Nov 16th 1945, the Reich have now extended their range from Tours, (France) to Minsk. (in the east) With their new V-4 and V-12's in operation, the allies have moved to more drastic measures.
With reports of the German Atomic testing coming to an advanced form, the West has enhansed their Seismic Bomb range to include Europe.
With the new B-33 bomber, this program will be fullfilled. Four times more powerful than the British 'Earthquake' bomb, this Anglo/American weapon is causing remarkable results.
First used on a town south of Paris, Aug. 21st 1946, not only the town, but the country side around it was totally leveled. Seen here, taken from a USAAF Reporter, this bomber is attacking Clermont.

THat's very very nice Glenn! I love that B-33 concept and the way you've pulled it off! That seismic bomb looks very menacing!

Very cool Glenn    Only one little nitpick, but wouldn't she be NMF at that stage of the war?

Nice kit bash Glen

My Allied 1946 stuff is still in camo as well on the basis that the Axis forces were still capable of dishing it out (also no good at NMF)

Nice......is that Aurora's B-33 kit? I've been trying to track one of those down since I was 8! :P

Glenn

Zac,
Aurora made a B-33? Nah, it's only a pair of Crown B-26's cut up and joined together. This is a 1/144 sc model, the bomb is from a 1/48 P-40 (Airfix)
Pardon my ignorance, but........NMF?

I was, how do you say, "yanking your chain". Fantastic model, it's so god it SHOULD have been made by a major company.

How on earth can you spring such marvellous models from nowhere? It's inspiring!

Glenn

Zac, what you need is plenty of reference material, and a couple of 6 packs of beer, helps....well, I don't know where 'they' come from? I could be watching TV, a favourite program, or a Test Patern, and something just pops into my head (and that's saying something) and in the next hour, I've designed, and mentally built it. It sure saves time in construction, if you've ironed out the problems in your head.
With the B-33, I have three great reference books, to get ideas from.
1. US Fighters.
2. US Bombers
3. US Navy Fighters.

By Aero Publishers (c.1974) These three books have the full history of each aircraft, photos and most important, 3view plans. Some of the things unbuilt, you wouldn't believe!
Look up the Convair XB-53, and you'll see what I mean!
