Have to admit, I caught myself reaching toward the screen as if I could actually touch the model----I want to fly it around my living room!

I wanna fly it around the entire apartment! I always loved the Raiden's shape, so, "neat". Please oh please finish this beauty!

Tophe

I had built a Raiden in 1978 (I was 14), and she is still alive in my shelf:

This is 1/32 as the near Spitfire, the 1/72 canard He 162 in front proving it! Well, I don't feel easy about celebrating such a Japanese bird, involved in the bad domination over the Philippines of my family in law... I consider removing the roundels and the guns, painting it all again, and to feel more easy in a what-if dream: I consider removing the propeller blades and filling with putty the front air intake... This would be even more aerodynamic, while simply unable to fly, unable to kill...
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

No backstory. I just thought it will look good and different then typical green over grey Raiden :)

Wow Marek looks great! Your paint chipping is very realistic!

Very cool.  Are the scheme and radar antennas all speculative or did such a bird really fly?

100% speculative :)

I heard about night version of Zero with "schrege music" but I never heard about night Raiden :)

But I think it looks hmm... different.

Wow, that looks really cool

How much more black can you get?  None, none more black  :D

Marek,

Just wonderful. The Raiden is my fav Japanese plane and you have done a great job with it.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
