Anyway, hope everyone's really looking forward to this. My Chipmunk is screaming at me to be put into RAFSEA, and I know many others are itching to dive into their stash for an Airfix wonder. Or four, as in the case of Brian  B) .

That's OK, fondling plastic, dry fitting bits and holding it up at different angles to examine it, counts as building in my book.
That way I can say, that I spend hours every single day building
Also running round the room "flying" the plane and making engine noises is a legitimate way to make the paint cure properly .
