MORE UPDATES!!!!

First up because I don't have a work area built after renovating the flat last year, so here's where I'm working

Ok on to the kit I've been busy on the rear cockpit faring...it needs another minor coat of spot filler to smoothout some pin holes in the main filler. That will happen tomorrow after the future drys:

The wings are now filled and smoothed too :

Finnished the canopy and pilot got him installed and just need to do the HUD...

Well it all went tits up today! You see I found out the Airfix never EVER meant for this plane to be built in-flight so the gear doors are complete...well I have found the peices

So I tried filling ti with eopoxy...shoulda mixed it properly!! So now I've ripped the wings off and replaced them with others from another kit (now consigned to spares...) managed to save the fuselage and others but the wings are a write off

oh welll.....

Besides the fookup it has allowed me to reavluate the role of the plane...she's dedicated light attak/COIN/FAC....so I'm redoing the wings without the stinger launchers. Instaed I'm going for bomblet dispensers alongside the gunpod. For the attack on the pirate base they'll have incendaries for dealing with personel and material...

Sorry to hear that D!

I was really loving the look of those rocket pods alongside the gun.

And I realllllly wish more manufacturers would do a bit better with gear doors for inflight poses.
