My Airfix kit arrived today!

Well my recent Ebay purchase arrived today so I'm officially ready to build somethin' for the group build

My new arrival is a 1/72  McDonnel F2H Banshee that is going to be getting the V-tail treatment. Not sure about any other mods or the markings yet but I just thought the Banshee would look good with a V-tail.

Fortunately my auction also included an MPC Banshee (looks to be the same kit as the Airfix) that is going to donate his tail and any other bits I may need so I can modify the Airfix kit. If all goes well I will start working on it this weekend
