Well, I've never really been into gaming but I have to admit the Warhammer 40K stuff is pretty cool looking. I finally broke down and bought a kit and it's not half bad. they are a bit pricey and some of the fit could have been better but overall I liked it.

There was one part that didn't get formed all the way (the top gun on the nose so I improvised and used another part to replace it. I also made the small wind screens for the crew and added some screens to the intakes since I pictured this thing screaming along at ground level just above the tall grass...woudn't do to be sucking birds and bunnies through the engines ;)

I didn't feel like breaking out the airbrush so this one is all by hand...of course after looking at it I'm not sure if I could have done it with my airbrush.

This was a fun easy build, I will probably be looking for another kit from this line if I can get my wallet to agree.

Beautiful and lethal looking as well.

very nice...yeah, I wish those things were a little more reasonable too.  I almost flipped when I started to look for battlemech models...ridiculous prices. (300 bucks? c'mon)
Your paintjob is great, no need for the airbrush at all.

Great build Jeff, and great pic too! My son Derek has just commandeered it for his wallpaper setting!  ;)
